[He's not even trying to be funny half the time, but Aerith's laugh is adorable so he's not about to complain.] Ugh, don't say that. I just felt a chill go up my spine.

[asphodels]

[ Leaning up, she hums happily. ]

It's okay. It was just an impression.

[moseyin]

[Yeah, speaking of impressions...] So...this is your first time really meeting the 'real Cloud,' isn't it?

[asphodels]

I suppose... You could say that.

[moseyin]

So...this is actually more like our first date, instead of a second. Right? [Is he coming off as smooth? Because he's more like very insecure and nervous but covering that up with a thin sheen of aloofness.]

[asphodels]

Oh! [ She blinks, pausing to consider, before she nods her head, tilting up to look at him. ] You're right! This is the first one, isn't it? Last time it was payment for being a bodyguard, too.

[moseyin]

[Knowing Aerith...she'll like this next part] Right, first date. So uhhh we should get to know each other. [Cloud you knew her for months- oh okay you're pulling a folded note out of your pocket, okay buddy,] So I wrote down some questions I figured first daters ask each other.

[asphodels]

[ Her eyes widen and she leans forward, trying to see if she can get a peek at the piece of paper. ]

Cloud! What kind of questions?

[moseyin]

Hey- [Holds them out of her reach. Patience, you] You'll find out when I ask them.

[asphodels]

Then ask me them! [ Frowning! ] I'm curious now.

[moseyin]

[Hahaaa, knew it]

Alrighty, number one. [Clears throat, arm going along the back of the bench behind Aerith again.] What's your favorite band?

[asphodels]

Favourite band? [ She taps her chin as she thinks, considering. She didn't really listen to a lot of music, so... ] I don't think I have a favourite. Mom used to listen to the radio sometimes, but I just went to the church. What about you?

[moseyin]

Hmm... [Tilts his head back thoughtfully] Right before I left home I got really into this one band...I can't remember the name now. The Diamond- somethings. I think they used Shiva as their band logo.

[asphodels]

I see. [ She grins, leaning forward because he's so easy to tease. ] So you liked bands with pretty girls as a mascot?

[moseyin]

Stop that. That's not why... [it's a little bit why]

[asphodels]

Are you sure? [ She relents, though, letting him off for now. ] Do I have to think of a question now? What else is on your list?

[moseyin]

Uhhh...number two is 'what's your birthday,' but I know that already. [he scribbled one out so moving on from that] Three...favorite color?

[asphodels]

It was blue, once, but then it changed to pink. [ There's no need to explain that it's because of her pink ribbon, but that's where it started. ] But I like purple, too.

[moseyin]

Flower colors. [Cloud there are a lot of flower colors, buddy, and those aren't even the color of her flowers.] Pink suits you though. Red too.

[asphodels]

Cloud, flowers come in lots of colours. [ Babe. Sweetheart. Ur cute. ] Red like the dress from when we saved Tifa?

[moseyin]

Yeah, that's what I was thinkin' of.

And you had your hair out. [Gestures poof, big ponytail.] You don't realize how much there is when it's braided like that.

[asphodels]

That's why I do it! It's easier.

[ She hums, settling back. ]

It gets all over the place if I don't.

[moseyin]

Yeah, but you got it long for a reason, right? Don't you wanna wear it down sometimes?

[asphodels]

I've never had a reason to. I always had to be ready to run!

[moseyin]

Because of the Turks. [Right. She'd mentioned getting harassed by them was a constant occurrence.] God, those assholes.
